September the 17th marked the start of the European Conference on the Future Internet (ECFI) Munich. The the team from FI-STAR including Medichem met a day earlier at Munich technical university to discuss the progress and advancement of the e-health User case.
ECFI was a chance for user cases to showcase the latest Future Internet applications based on FIWARE technology. The different European application sectors exhibiting included e-health (FISTAR), Smart Cities, Multimedia, Smart Manufacturing, Mobile, Smart AgriFood, Smart Energy, Creative Industries, Social Interaction, Food Chain Logistics, Media & Content and Learning & Training.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity for Medichem to showcase their advancements in 2D barcoding and the use of their PIL manager app in tracking patients health and enabling self management. Furthermore it provided Mayfair Technology with a chance to meet with user cases in a variety sectors as part of their ongoing commitment to innovation specifically in the use of future internet technologies in healthcare, construction and energy management.
Mayfair Technology hope to utilise much of this new technology to integrate with the development arm of the company MGI in the design and creation of new Health Centres to create patient focused buildings that provide innovative primary care practices that work for the benefit of the patient.
