Last weekend our Chief Executive Rohin Dhand took some time to run a breakout session for medical students and newly qualified doctors on the business side of General Practice. Hosted by the University of Manchester GP Society and the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) the event aimed to provide students with an insight into General Practice.

With most GPs being Independent contractors to the NHS they are responsible for running the business affairs of their practice as well as providing adequate premises to serve their patients.
