On the 5th of July 1948, the NHS was launched by then health secretary and key architect Aneurin Bevan.  Over the last 70 years, the NHS has radically transformed the health and wellbeing of people making access to high-quality health care free at the point of delivery.

‘No society can legitimately call itself civilzed if a sick person is denied medical aid because of lack of  means’
– Aneurin Bevan

Although the NHS has faced tough financial conditions over the last few years the dedication, commitment and professionalism shown by all its staff in challenging times have been exceptional. It is no wonder our health care system is the envy of the world!

As a premises developer for General Practioners, we are proud to play our small part in providing a home for NHS primary care services. Despite trying times MGI remains as committed as ever to bringing high-quality premises to some of the most deprived areas nationally.

As times change the NHS continues to evolve and respond to the needs of a changing population. It has delivered staggering medical advances and continues to innovate in all areas of patient care allowing us to all live longer lives! So thank you to the NHS and Happy Birthday!
